Television Coverage
In the United Kingdom, the BBC is providing coverage. For those of us in the United States, Good Morning America on ABC has coverage on Thursday and Friday mornings. BBC World News (available on many cable feeds in the USA) has the beacon lighting on Thursday at 4 PM Eastern Time. ABC has the Platinum Party at the Palace (concert) on Saturday at 8 PM Eastern Time.

Trooping the Colour: Queen Elizabeth II will not take the Salute due to her mobility issues. Instead, The Prince of Wales, The Duke of Cambridge, and The Princess Royal will take the salute accompanied by members of the Royal Family at the Birthday Parade on Horse Guards (Trooping the Colour) at Whitehall, London. The Royal Family will witness a fly-past by the Royal Air Force from the balcony at Buckingham Palace.
Platinum Jubilee Beacons: Over 1,500 beacons will be lit throughout the United Kingdom and the United Kingdom Overseas Territories, continuing the long tradition of celebrating Royal Jubilees, Royal Weddings, and Coronations with a chain of lights across the country.

Service of Thanksgiving: A Service of Thanksgiving for Queen Elizabeth II‘s 70-year reign will be held at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London.

The Derby at Epsom Downs: Members of the Royal Family will attend the Derby at Epsom Downs. Due to her mobility issues, The Queen will decide that morning if she will attend.
Platinum Party at the Palace: A music concert that will be held at Buckingham Palace featuring “the world’s biggest entertainment stars.”

The Big Jubilee Lunch: Communities across the United Kingdom will come together for The Big Jubilee Lunch as part of the official celebrations for HM The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. More than 70,000 Big Lunches have been planned across the United Kingdom.
The Platinum Jubilee Pageant: A pageant featuring approximately 5,000 people from across the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth will take place against the backdrop of Buckingham Palace combined with street arts, theatre, music, circus, carnival, and costumes.
